Wake's James Johnson gone...

...So says the Wyoming Tribune Eagle. Johnson, Wake Forest's talented 6-foot-8 swingman, is from Wyoming, in case you were wondering.

I'm not so sure about this one. He's a borderline first round prospect- you shouldn't leave early unless you are a first round lock in my opinion.

He's attractive because he's an above average college scorer and ball handler for his size. But while that combination gets you attention in the ACC, it doesn't automatically translate to the NBA.

Let's be honest, it seems like 6-foot-8 swingmen grow on trees in the league.

So, I'm not real sure about this move. If he had to go, this was the right time to do it. Better get your name out there now before Wake freshman Al-Farouq Aminu (pound for pound the better prospect at the same position) declares for himself.

It'll be interesting to see what fellow Demon Deacon Jeff Teague does as well. He got a lot of hype during the first half of this season while guiding the Deacs to their No. 1 ranking.

But as Wake gradually fell back to earth, so did Teague's game. I know he did THIS, and I will always be grateful to him for allowing me to witness such an incredible act of athletic dominance, but come on.

Teague really was one of the most overrated players in the ACC this season. Feel free to argue this with me, just be prepared to lose that argument- kind of like Dino Gaudio seemed prepared to lose against Cleveland State last month.
