Today has been unexpectedly depressing.
As Schimmel pointed out, we lost Harry Kalas. Also passing today were former Detroit Tiger Mark Fidrych and porn legend Marilyn Chambers.
I don't know enough about Fidrych to eulogize him in this space, and Chambers is regrettably beyond the scope of this blog.
Instead, I can only offer a simple photo. I was going to sit on this today, but with the growing sadness I felt moved to liberate this image.
Hopefully it'll bring a smile to your face.
